Job Summary

This is a full-time Europe Program Associate entry-level position based in Berlin. This person will be responsible for day-to-day logistics and operational support for our walking tours and excursions in France, Iberia, and Northern & Central Europe. The position reports to the Program Manager in Berlin.

Our ideal candidate is someone with keen attention to detail who is passionate about and understands travel and culture.  You have traveled throughout Europe and know your way around its major cities. Above all, you have excellent organizational, time-management, and administrative skills to ensure that the work gets done well and efficiently.  This position also requires versatility—you must be tech savvy and be able to work collaboratively with your colleagues both in the Berlin office and globally.

Responsibilities and Duties

Order Fulfillment 

  • Manage and track ticket purchasing and reservations for major venues in France, Iberia, and Northern & Central Europe
  • Assist with distribution of tour assignments to Context expert guides
  • Reserve and confirm transportation for client transfers and tours
  • Quality check itineraries to ensure correct bookings, tickets and reservations


  • Track client feedback and action appropriately
  • Respond to inquiries from Context expert guides by email

Product Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date back-end product information - fact-checking and editing as needed
  • Assist team with improving existing tours and developing new tours

General Duties

  • Participate in company-wide and team-specific meetings
  • Provide general office support during peak season
  • Travel regionally (occasionally)
  • Serve regularly as on-call staff person for our 24-hour emergency phone crew (including several weekend shifts per year)

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluency in English required, knowledge of French, German, and/or Spanish preferred
  • Bachelor degree (or similar post-secondary qualifications) in the liberal arts or in business or travel management required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years office experience
  • Love of travel and experience traveling in Europe required
  • High computer proficiency required, including the Google for Business suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Forms, Drive, Gmail)
  • Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced, international, tech-reliant environment is essential
  • Work experience in the cultural sector or travel industry preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working both as part of a team and independently
  • Must possess appropriate documentation to live and work legally in Germany
